[solved] Website(s) where to report.
« on: September 26, 2023, 11:10:56 am »
Hi,

With the notion being it completely unimportant (my OCD tells otherwise but I can manage).

Browsing over to www.freepascal.org, scrolling down I can read: "Privacy statement. Copyright Free Pascal team 1993-2019."
Browsing over to https://www.lazarus-ide.org/, scrolling down I can read: "© 1993-2022 Lazarus and Free Pascal Team"

At the same time we (or at least I) seem to live in 2023. So either the copyright has expired (please do share with us the details in that case) or the sites were not updated  :)

Where does one normally report (or add a MR for) these kind of things ?

For Free Pascal there is a gitlab website repo where you can log bugs (though it might be wise to also mention it on the maillist and/or forum since it might not be looked at daily).

Anyway, I tried to update it in git, and it should be updated tomorrow.

Lazarus also seems to have a website repo, so you could log a bug there.

Thank you marcov.

I've located the the website repo's now for Free Pascal and Lazarus. Initially I seem to have overlooked those.

Thank you for the update for the FPC website. I'll wait for the refresh then.

Lazarus seem to require a change at this location. If it is not automatically picked up then I'll try and see what I can do.

I changed it in the repo. It will be changed online when the next release/other update is done.

Outstanding Martin_fr. Thank you for the update.

My OCD thanks you both and is forever in your debt.
