Switch between text editor window and docked windows

(1/1)

simsee:
I use Lazarus with the various IDE windows (object inspector, editor, project inspector, etc) in docked mode.  This has the disadvantage that the editor window is smaller, making writing code a bit awkward on small screens.  Is there a way to quickly switch between a mode with all docked windows visible and one in which only the text editor windows is visible?  Thank you.

There is "Dekstops" feature, you may need to turn it on in Tools -> Settings -> IDE CoolBar, then configure as you like

In addition, you can minimize and restore docked areas as needed when enabled in the Docking options for the IDE.

Tools > Options > Environment > Docking/AnchorDocking > Allow dock sites to be minimized

@Fibonacci: I've tried this solution in the past, but it didn't always work correctly.  I try again.

@Dsiders: I didn't know about this option.  Thanks for pointing it out.
