Screen draws very slow under Fedora Wayland with IDE built with QT5

Just an observation, I am running Fedora 38 with Plasma. Fedora defaults to Wayland and overall it works great. Apps that I compile run in Wayland and so all works well. The only issue I have is with the designer in the IDE. Any dragging of items or resizing of either the form or any component of the form redraws very slowly, the more components the slower it gets. I have tried an x11 session and behavior is normal so not sure if its Plasma(kwin) causing this or something else.
