How to setup Exception-Handling?

Hi Folks,
for the life of me i can't remember it anymore:

Scenario:
I'm currently writing some code which connects to an ODBC-Database.
In the Uses-Clause: Classes, SysUtils, ODBCConn

How do i setup the Exception-handling in the Project options for my code to handle the Exception, and not the IDE?

Add EODBCException and activate it?
Unselect "Notify on Exceptions"?
What with debuggers?
