Change font in views

I want to change the font in the views so I can use space more effectively - particularly the debug views. Surely this is an obvious thing to do, but I can't see how to. But nor do I see lots of people complaining they can't do it, which suggests this problem is somewhere between the chair and the keyboard. So is it possible to change the fonts?
