Drag-over event does not fire until "dropped" on Linux

On Ubuntu 22.04, it seems drag-over is the same as drag-drop (on mouse release). Dragging over the target does not fire drag-over events, but behaves the same as a drag-drop (no change to cursor on drag-over, only until "dropped").

Anyone else seeing this??
