ANN: mORMot 2 Release Candidate
« on: January 10, 2023, 10:51:28 am »
The mORMot 2 framework is about to be released as its first 2.0 stable version.

I am currently working on preliminary documentation.
Some first shot here https://synopse.info/files/doc/mORMot2.html

The framework feature set should now be considered as sealed for this release.
There is no issue reported opened at https://github.com/synopse/mORMot2/issues or in the forum.

There was a lot of work to focus on FPC/Lazarus stability and performance. Lazarus is my IDE of choice even before I started mORMot 2. ;) Performance has been tuned for Linux x86_64, and thanks to the great quality and efficiency of FPC, we can be proud of Open Source projects on modern object pascal!

Please test it, and give here some feedback to fix any problem before the actual release!
We enter a framework code-freeze phase until then.

Congrats! This architecture is way better in terms of coupling, at least many units can be used relatively standalone now.
