Lazarus qt5 at custom scaling
« on: December 22, 2022, 06:38:50 am »
I just recompiled Lazarus to use widget type QT5 after reading a recent how-to on the forum. Seems to work fine.

To my question.
Kubuntu is running plasma at global scaling 125%, and I notice the icons on the Toolbar look a little stretched. Compare attachments. Using Lazarus with GTK2, they looked fine. Why is this and is there a workaround?

I find images at lazarus/images/components that are made for 100, 150 and 200% scaling, but not 125

I'm thinking of brutally batch convert the 200-size images down to 125, rename them so Lazarus will use them for standard 100% scaling. May have to recompile Lazarus after that. But maybe there are other ways to keep my 125% screen scaling and still have nice images in Lazarus?
Lazarus trunk / fpc 3.2.2 / Kubuntu 22.04 - 64 bit
