Reading Blob Sub_type Text from Firebird 4.0

I have posted this in another thread, but I write here again as there were no replies.

As the title says, I have problem in reading in blob sub_type 1 field of Firebird 4 from Lazarus application.

- No problem with Firebird 3
- No problem with Blob Sub_type 0 (which is binary)
- No problem reading in the field with FlameRobin, etc.

Can anybody confirm this?

Hello,
what database components are you using ? SQLDb ? Zeos ? Other ?
With the current version of Zeos (8.0.0-beta) i can use Blob Sub_Type 0 and Sub_Type 1 with a FB4 Database.
See in attachment my Database Example image_Mushrooms migrated from FB3 to FB4.
