Lazarus IDE startup and fppkg configuration on (Debian) Linux
« on: October 23, 2022, 09:14:39 pm »
Over the last few versions of the IDE and FPC, I've sometimes experienced problems with the initial dialog(ue) that asks for the fppkg location. Since I don't recall anybody else complaining of this I assume that it's caused by some peculiarity of my configuration, probably a layer of symlinks.

In case it helps anybody, attached is a working file to be placed at ~/.config/fppkg.cfg (this only needs to be done once), I suspect that this originated with a slightly older FPC version than is now current.
