The wiki isn't documentation. Anything that can't easily be changed by a non-core user is considered official and thus if an issue is found there an issue should be opened on the bug tracker.

I know. But when I've raised this in the past- and I'm /not/ spending my time hunting messages down- I've had people hemming and hawing and saying that the website doesn't fall into anybody's remit in particular.
