Math rendering/typesetting package/library?
« on: September 28, 2022, 12:09:22 am »
Is there a package/library that given some input (LaTex, MathML, something else) outputs an image with the mathematical symbols rendered in a sensible way? There's a library called 'MathJax' but it seems to be intended for the web/browsers, not desktop applications.

Yes. It is designed to render mathematical expressions in web browsers. It is written in JavaScript. Most web browsers cannot display such content. Only Firefox partially supported MathML and the old version of Opera (probably up to version 12.5).
