After "Run" the MousePad is turned off
« on: September 02, 2022, 06:05:22 pm »
I've been having problems with the IDE, or it could be something else.  I recently re-installed Lazarus after many years and to test I did the simple form with a button on it that closed the program.  Using the "Run" function everything was fine, I click the button to close the application and that works fine, the mouse functionality using the touchpad on my laptop was turned off once the main window had been closed.  I turned the touchpad back on using the "Devices" section of windows, and it was fine, I re-ran the code and again the touchpad was switched off.  If anyone can tell me of a setting that would stop this behaviour I would be so grateful.

Welcome to the forum. This will probably turn out to be some sort of OS issue, but you really do need to put more info about what OS you're actually running as well as the version of Lazarus etc. in the body of your message (i.e. not in your sig, lest you be tempted :-)
