[Solved] Default filename in PrintDialog
« on: August 11, 2022, 06:45:33 pm »
In the PrintDialog, when a user selects something like "Microsoft print to PDF", rather than a printer, he is then directed to select a folder and file name for that PDF file. Is it possible to provide the user with a default filename in this situation?

I don't use Windows anymore, but your question seems to be solved here:

And don't forget "Microsoft Print to PDF" creates a really large inefficient PDF.
Much larger dan any other PrintToPDF solution.

It's usable for the occasional PDF but if you are going to store or mail these routinely, you better stay away from "Microsoft Print to PDF".
