But can we please deal with the underlying problem ?  We need to break libQt5Pas away from the Lazarus release cycle, perhaps that means moving the source right out of the Lazarus tree ?  As long as its there, distributions will not touch it until its released as part of Lazarus.

Start up a Gitlab/hub repo, put the source there, including the recent changes (assuming they don't break anything backwardly). And push a release, nothing more than a tag and few clicks and the distros will pick it up now, and be ready to cope with it when the actual LCL content does make it out.

Otherwise, we still have a version of this problem.
