Manually install fpc/lazarus in Linux

I downloaded zip file of fpc from snapshot, extract it to one folder, moved some files (units to be next of bin), used command to make cfg
sudo /usr/fpc/bin/fpcmkcfg -d "basepath=/usr/fpc" -o /etc/fpc.cfg
added it to path,
Lazarus from gitlab rebo, I compiled it fine, i have only one thing not fixed is fppkg config file
how can i tell Lazarus idk where the file , why cant regenerate it using command line of any tools?

Maybe, you can click the "Restore Fppkg configuration" botton.
Have a try.

fppkg.cfg is nothing to do with fp.cfg.
It's broken. Look back through the forum, somebody had a workaround a couple of days ago but I've usually got round it by saving and restoring an old Lazarus configuration file.
