IDE option code folding translations

Reserved words in the listbox of the code folding tab should not be translated.

Agreed.

I assume "code folding tab" refers to: Menu: Tools > Options => Tab: Editor > CodeFolding ?
There is a similar list under: Menu: Tools > Options => Tab: Editor > Display > Markup

- Which ones are translated?
- For which language are they translated?
- Did you check Lazarus 2.2 (or 2.2RC2)?

I checked "German", and did not spot any...
Well, one that could be argued, but IMHO is ok.
There are 2 entries for "Begin/End". One is "Begin/End (procedure)" that applies only to procedure blocks. And one "Begin/End (nested)" that is for 'combined statements' (eg if .. then begin) inside a block of code.
The German translation has "Begin/End (Prozedur)". But this is ok. This is not the "procedure" keyword. This is actually the English word "procedure" used to describe "the opening closing of any routine". A routine in pascal is then identified by the keyword "function" or "procedure".
So as I said, IMHO this one is ok. But it is a close call.... In German the translated term is very similar to the English term and similar to (one of) the two keywords. Thus allowing the reader to make the association. It may well be that in other languages, this needs a different approach....

Please create a bug report.
Please include the answer to the questions (which words? which language?) in the bug report.

Thanks.

Language is finnish.
Version 2.2RC2 and 2.3.
Words procedure, repeat, try, program, unit, record.
These word are translated in markup section too.

I have github account but I am not going to use it here.

Yes indeed. The keywords in the CheckListbox are translated. They should be const instead of resourcestring in the code.
Mostly Lazarus trunk and FPC 3.2 on Manjaro Linux 64-bit.

Some of them are embedded in text. The surrounding text can be translated, and is translated. That could even apply for separator chars in "begin/end".

Those which are keyword only, could be const. But may in some translations have added text (not that I expect this).
If I counted correctly only 9 of the 23 are "pure keyword".
