Why it is so slow to load Lazarus Forum Web?

There is some new webcrawler. You can also see that there are 8 registered users online and 344 guests.
Some occasional slowliness is also possible if people heavily use the search feature.

One thing we found out is that I might be caused by the way mysql does database locking. It might block other requests. One thing I plan to do when I find some time is to move the database form mysql to postgresql (since it is sopported by smf nowadays)
