Can you test a current native Carbon-based snapshot? It looks like you're still running an X11/GTK build.

Thanks.

What are your current environment variables?
Can you post them?
Can you tell us your location of the compiler executable?

I successfully built lazarus for gkt/X11 with macOS 10.5.4 2 weeks ago.

Hi,
more exactly, i installed lazarus not on X11, but from pkg (fpc, fpcsrc and lazarus) and starting lazarus.app the message is 'Free Pascal Compiler not found'.
Setup the 'Environment option-Compiler path = /usr/local/bin/ppcppc, message is 'Acces violation'.
Configure 'Build Lazarus' option: lcl interface : carbon (i tried more option).

(fpc-2.2.2.powerpc, fpcsrc-2.2.2.powerpc, lazarus-09.25powerpc)

Many thanks,
Critlopaco

I can't reproduce the access violation on my PowerPC with the 2008-08-28 snapshot. I blanked the compiler path and the IDE correctly warned me about this when I closed the dialog and also the next time I started Lazarus. When I put /usr/local/bin/ppcppc back into the compiler path box, everything is okay again.

If all else fails, you might try uninstalling everything and reinstalling Laz and FPC. Here's a script that you can adapt to uninstall everything at once:

Thanks.

I uninstalled lazarus and fpc, reinstalled them again, but the problem is the same.
Thanks,

If you can reproduce this problem, please be sure to log it as a bug (see Bug Tracking at left). Otherwise, it may never get fixed.

Thanks.
