Game Development Tutorials
« on: October 18, 2021, 12:50:33 am »
Does anyone have links to up to date resources for 2d Pascal game development.  Preferably with lots of example code.  I want to create a 2d platformer crossed with a text adventure game.  I will be using 3d models like those from pixelsizzle. I am digitizing these characters into basic sprites and the game mechanics will be similar to flashback or another world.

Any help is appreciated!

You might want to check out Platformer game demo in Castle Game Engine:

Lazarus 1.9 + FPC 3.1.1 Debian Jessie 64 bit.

You might look in the direction of the Phoenix Game Framework. There is a platformer implementation in the examples.
