lazarus 2.5, running without problems?

I am sorry, Lazarus 2.5 is not expected until somewhere in the 2020's (extrapolating current speed of releases).

I am sorry, but do you want a screen shot of Lazarus 0.9.25 running on linux, to prove that it is running without problems?

If so, there is a screen shot in wikipedia, but I don't know how much that proves. The best prove is to install and try it yourself.

@sternas:
You're a professional, but can't compile/install lazarus on linux? Yet, you accused Lazarus is a fake cross platform dev tool. And, you took a screenshot as a FACT? Wow, you must be very "professional". :P Are you a developer or manager? ;)

I can give you latest Lazarus 0.9.25 screenshots on windows, linux, and mac os x. But, why should I? :P

1-Get Lazarus sources from SVN
2-Install freepascal
3-Go to Lazarus sources directory and do "make all"

There is a daily build of SVN development tree (2.3.1) here:
ftp://ftp.freepascal.org/pub/fpc/snapshot/trunk/x86_64-linux/

I'm on windows, so I can't help you further, sorry

You may start from here: http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/Installing_Lazarus_on_MacOS_X

Though the title says it's for Mac OS X, but the steps for other platform are similar. Hence you're a professional, I believe you could "improvise" a little bit to make it work on your particular platform. You can also dig the wiki to find other useful informations. HTH.
