create_lazarus_deb.sh error when using GIT repository

Hi,

I'm trying to build lazarus on debian using create_lazarus_deb.sh. This returns an error: "svn: E155007: '..../git/lazarus' is not a working copy"

This is probably because the script expects the repository to be from subversion right?
