While I no longer consider myself a "beginner", more tutorial YouTube videos are always great. It will improve the overall visibility of the language. I feel we should be advertising ObjectPascal to the younger generation somehow, it's that generation that will define the future or software development after all. Hook them in at a young age! How can we make ObjectPascal look hip on TikTok?
One of the huge advantages for the younger generation to use ObjectPascal is it's "almost too quick" compiling, it's perfect for people who seek "instant gratification" and have no patience for long compile times. I loved using QBASIC for the longest time growing up because of how fast it was to just hit F5. I originally had trouble moving onto compiled languages because of that. But when I tried TurboPascal and released that hitting Ctrl-F9 was just as fast as hitting F5 in QBASIC, I was hooked. These days with super fast PCs, the only languages with poor compile times will be Java I think, most smaller apps should compile fairly fast on modern hardware in most other languages.
This post has inspired me a bit to maybe look into creating some YouTube videos of my own as to further increase the languages visibility on YouTube.
