I did not succeed in installing a BigSur VM directly in VirtualBox (Win10).
However.
Installing Catalina was easy. Followed by an upgrade to BigSur !
Takes some time ... drink coffee.

Hello DonAlfredo.

Ha, ok then it is possible with VirtualBox too (vs VMWare).

Do you use that BigSur VM on VirtualBox to do your fpcupdeluxe Mac OS release?

Nop. That is compiled by crossing towards OSX on Window itself.

Ha, OK.

It seems too that I will have more luck using Windows 10 vs Linux to make work all those Mac OS virtual things and cross-compilation.

(I would prefer to do it on Linux but I already try it last year without luck, but ok good opportunity to come back to Windows).

Thanks for the infos.

I'v tried install macOS in both Windows and Linux, it is painful slow on Window with my decent hardware (Ryzen 7 3700x, 32GB RAM), it runs a lot smoother in Linux.

If you have time and willing to dig on internet, I suggest you build a EFI for your hardware and install a hackintosh for cross development test platform purpose.
Lazarus 2.2.4 (Win11, Manjaro KDE, CachyOS KDE, Linux Mint)
