did you forget -T?
« on: September 04, 2021, 11:56:48 pm »
I have tried installing both FPC and Lazarus on linux (usually debian based) distros from their repos and usually find when compiling some code I get the warning message: link.res contains output sections; did you forget -T?  It doesn't actually seem to do any harm ie the program compiles and runs anyway BUT is there something I need to do to eliminate the warning?

@Kays
Thanks
I will go with:
'Their is no way to remove the -T warning with earlier FPC versions, but it should not result in any problems'
But will no doubt attempt future installs and see what's what.
