Seek freelance work for attempt to compile SWMM GUI
« on: September 02, 2021, 04:49:09 pm »
Dear all,

I am seeking someone to attempt compiling https://www.epa.gov/sites/default/files/2020-08/swmm51015_gui.zip on Windows 10 with Lazarus on a paid basis. Only open libraries allowed and recipe will be fed back to Github. Please make contact for upfront negotiations.

Kind regards

Sebastian

The result of a quick look onto the project/code:

- with Delphi 10.4 CE (Community Edition) the build is possible on Win 10. The Zip contains the necessery special components. A test (debug-session) was not possible because a dll is missed. Perhaps the missing dll is the computational-engine-project from:

https://www.epa.gov/water-research/storm-water-management-model-swmm

- the code seems to be clear

- i don't know the equivalent lazarus-components of delphi's TImageCollection and TVirtualImageList

Who have enough time -> do/try it. ;-)

Dear all,

thanks for your replies. I cannot post private messages. I have no budget, just my pocket money. If still interested please make direct contact through sebastian.schoeller@gmail.com

@TSchnuckenbock:
Thanks for pointing to a Community Edition. If investing my own time I'll try that. My initial idea was to try opensource = independence first.

Kind regards

Sebastian
