Passing options to make from IDE

I can't find anywhere in the IDE where I can pass options to make. The 'configure build lazarus' dialog will pass it as OPT=<myoptions> while what I want is 'make <myoptions>'. This is useful since I always build my lazarus with 'make all smart STRIP=1 OPTIMIZE=1'. Without it, building the snapshot must be done twice. The first will build 'minimal' lazarus, and the second is a rebuild with all chosen packages.
