Indy 10 and Ubuntu 8.04 AMD64
« on: July 08, 2008, 12:24:17 pm »
Hi folks!

I am trying to install the Indy components in Lazarus running on Ubuntu 8.04 AMD64.

As a guide I am using your Wiki. Eveything works fine until the line
Code: [Select]
dpkg-buildpackage -rfakeroot -uc
 I got following error messages:
Code: [Select]
/usr/bin/fpcmake -p -Tx86_64-linux Makefile.fpc
Processing Makefile.fpc
Error: Target "linux", package "rtl" not found
make[1]: *** [fpc_install] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving path '/home/thomas/Entwicklung/LazarusKompos/indy-10.2.0.1/fpc'
make: *** [install-arch] Error 2
dpkg-buildpackage: Failure: fakeroot debian/rules binary returned error-Exitstatus 2

I am trying to install the Indy components, because I already got a server tool written in Delphi using Indy to communicate with multiple client tools. Now I wanted to try using Lazarus to program a tool for my Ubuntu Laptop to communicate with given application.

So, if you got any ideas what goes wrong with assembling the deb-package, I would be grateful for a hint.

Kind regards,
Thanatos81
