LAMW - app not updating on real device
« on: July 11, 2021, 04:05:59 am »
When I make changes to application, phone always starts old application, not reflecting changes. I have no errors with compiling and 'Build Android APK and run'.
I use latest LAMW (updated with Fpcupdeluxe), target SDK is 29, APK builder is Gradle and chipset is ARMv7a+VFPv3.
Phone is Samsung S9.
If I use emulator to test application, I can see changes.
If I change AppDemo1 and upload it to the real device, I also see changes.

I try to uninstall application from phone, and when new application is loaded I see no changes. I also tried to delete cache and data in the settings, it's the same. I power cycled phone, it's the same.

Application was working, and changes was reflected until I noticed some strange behaviour with jImageList. Then I deleted jImageView and jImageList from main form and after that I can't put new version in phone. Old version still shows image on main form.

Can I try something else?

Go to folders "libs"  and clean up all!

Then "Run" --> "Clean up and Build"

Then "Run" --> "[LAMW] Build Android Apk and Run"

PS.
What about a New Project?

Thanks a lot, this worked!  :)

What about a New Project?

I thought about it, but I rather asked if there is solution. Because, if this happen in future it will be a lot faster to correct this way, than to create new project.
