Creating new issues is disabled. A few days ago it was enabled, then suddenly it was disabled, then yesterday enabled again for a short time and now it is disabled again. This also affects the Lazarus project.
See screensot.

You are in the "FPC > FPC" Group.
You need to be in the "FPC > FPC > Source" repro

Wow, this is really bad UI. The issue list should be empty if I am in an area where there can't be any issues. And if it instead shows an aggregated list of all sub-project issues there should (for reasons of symmetry) also be a new-issue-button that allows me to choose for which sub-project I want to create a new issue. Or at least a greyed out new-issue button with a hint that no project is currently selected.

Hello Martin and Michael.

I am still very impressed by your conversion to gitlab.

I just noted that the old links to mantis-bug tracker in old forum-posts are perfectly redirected to the corespondent issue on GitLab.

WoW.

Well, you'll have to complain to the GitLab developers about that.

And propose a patch to the GitLab developers (GitLab site is open-source).

https://gitlab.com/freepascal.org/fpc/documentation says "See https://docs.freepascal.org/ for the rendered online version of the documentation", but the link doesn't load for me...? In fact https://freepascal.org / https://www.freepascal.org don't load either.

There were some hoster related problems yesterday. It should work again.

SVN checkout from the Gitlab repository? No, but git clone is super easy.
I see you use Windows. Please install TortoiseGit. It recommends a Git installation URL during the process if you don't have it installed already.
Git installation alone is sufficient, too. It comes with very nice GUI tools "git gui" and gitk.
If you work on FreeBSD, git should work very well. I use it on Linux without any extra GUI tools. "git gui" and gitk are enough for my purposes.

Mostly Lazarus trunk and FPC 3.2 on Manjaro Linux 64-bit.

Answer has been given before. => Yes: GitHUB provides svn read only access.
(See earlier posts or check GitHUBs docs)

This feature only works, as long as GitHUB provides it. It works to whatever GitHUB supports. There is zero support from our side. And svn revisions can NOT be used in git reports and will be ignored.

We have 2 "svn 2 git translations" on our own wiki:
https://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/FPC_git
https://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/SVN_to_GIT_Cheatsheet

They are both separate complete mappings. The diff is explained on top of the 2nd one.

Thanks guys, I see that "GITLAB" do not give svn access to repos, unlike "GITHUB".
Anyway, I use TurtoiseGit for access to GitLab freepascal/lazarus repositories.

Thank you.
