transparancy question
« on: July 17, 2008, 04:44:47 pm »
I am currently running delphi 5, and I am looking for a feature that they only released with version 6- so while searching on the internet I found out about Lazarus- so im wondering if it has these features- at design time you can set the following properties on a form

AlphaBlend := true;
AlphaBlendvalue := 180;

it allows you to blend the form\make it semi transparent

can this be done in Lazarus??

hmmm thats a pity- although its windows that implements transparent forms, so its possible to connect to user32.dll, and call the transparent functions from there- got it to work eventually, but it was a bit more work - just would hav been nice to click a button
