Needs an Arabic-speaking moderator in the same jurisdiction as the forum infrastructure.

The Arabic language board is open

A new board has be created for the Arabic speakers.
Anyone wanting to use this new board needs to join it first. https://forum.lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php/page,29.html

This is a new feature that we are trying out. It means that other Members (who do not speak Arabic, and later other languages) can stick with the rest of the forum. They will not see the Arabic topics in the Recent-overview, or in their search Results.
Guests (anyone not logged in) will see the Arabic board. So Google and co can index it.

Hope this works well for everyone.

The board is currently moderated by Pascal111

From my perspective the Arabic section appears hidden.  Would it not be possible to provide a setting to customize the Recent list, rather than hiding other language sections? Is this a limitation of the forum platform?

So far we know of 2 or maybe 3 people that are on this board, and that said they speak Arabic.  One of them said they prefer English, one is you, and the "maybe" 3rd, well maybe they have no question yet.

So maybe this is a quest of new members to join?

google translate:

"I sent the following message on my Arabic account on Facebook:"

A new section that uses the Arabic language to teach the Free Pascal language and the Lazarus environment has been opened in the official Lazarus forum. The attempt seems new in the American programming forums and I was appointed as a moderator to organize the workflow in this subsection of the forum. This section is still in its infancy and needs a lot of member participation and support.

google translate:

"I also sent this post on my Arabic account on Facebook to encourage:"

In the previous post, in which I announced the opening of an Arabic section in the Lazarus Forum to teach programming in the Free Pascal language, I would like to point out that I was appointed as a temporary supervisor "moderator", meaning that while the Arabic section is active and there are members who have become sufficiently level to manage this section, a supervisor "moderator" can be appointed from them for a long time Term.

I think additional language subforums are good for Free Pascal/Lazarus.  Helps promote more usage of Object Pascal and a greater variety of choice.  Having more help and examples in a person's native language can be the difference as to what they will choose to use.

I'm not at all sure that this can be called an American programming forum; I think it's a good bet that an overwhelming majority of us are European and Asian ... ;D

Yeah, that's kind of implied in most being from Europe/Asia (except UK folks, o.c.) ;)

U.K. may not be E.U. any more, but Europe as a continent has afaik not changed.

And well, this is (and has been) an international forum.

But if the reference is to who provides the infrastructure then that is Europe.  I.e. the members of the team who are in charge of the infrastructure are (mostly?) European.

Admins/Moderator are global.
