TMemo cut+paste

Hello,

I am using a TMemo component (under WinXP) and have a strange behavior with cut & paste.  When I use the methods Memo1.CutToClipboard or Memo1.PasteFromClipboard, the cut/past works OK, but the memo is scrolled to the top line.  The caret stays in the proper place (for example, line 500), but the memo display itself scrolls to display line 0 as the top line.

Has anyone else seen this?  Is there any way to stop it?  (Note that this does not happen in Delphi).
