How to add named range to SpreadShet
« on: May 24, 2021, 11:46:53 pm »
Hello everybody.
I've been trying for quite some time to add a named range as it appears in the image programmatically to an xls file in sfExcel8 format. Is there any way to do it? It is very necessary to me. Thank you.

Currently, named ranges and named cells are not supported. Since these names can be used in formulas as well, supporting them seems to be quite some effort, and I am afraid that this will not be added in the near future (unless someone posts a patch).
Mainly Lazarus trunk / fpc 3.2.0 / all 32-bit on Win-10, but many more...
