Adding PTOP to the FP IDE
« on: May 16, 2021, 12:11:29 pm »
Is there a way to add PTOP to the FP IDE's external tools menu so that it formats the current file?
From the command line you need to specify an input and output filename, I don't know how to specify the current file in the editor for both.

$EDNAME should do the trick.

Maybe you should read the User's Guide, more specifically the section on Tools's meta-parameters in the IDE chapter.

$EDNAME was exactly what I needed, thanks.
I did check out the user's guide before posting but was looking under the ptop section.

Thanks again.
