Project files getting zero-ed out
« on: May 10, 2021, 07:04:13 am »
Version:

Lazarus 2.0.12 r64642 FPC 3.2.0 x86_64-win64-win32/win64

I'm running this in a w10 virtual machine on a Kubuntu host.

When I start up Lazarus to continue working on my project, it asks me if I want to upgrade. If I say no, Lazarus aborts. At this stage my LPI, PAS and LFM files are all intact.

If I say yes, it opens up a new Project. If I try to open my previous project, it says that the LPI file is not a text file. This is because the text has been removed and replaced with zero bytes.

Sometimes (but not always) the PAS and LFM files are also zero-ed out.

Is this a known issue or should I file a bug report?
