Key presses not identified on source editor

Hey guys,

i used lazarus for a long time but this is my first post. I want to report a really strange problem that i'm having lately. When i'm running the QT5 of lazarus any key that i press isn't recognized by the code editor, but works fine in the rest of the UI. I'm using Lazarus 2.0.12-2 QT5 from Manjaro offical repositories. If i compile the lazarus interface in GTK2 it works fine.

Any ideas of what's going on ?
