QUESTION: Why are the TreeNodes disappearing?

Does anyone know why the treenodes in my treeview are getting freed when I collapse the tree? I don't have any code that is doing this. I thought it might be my treenode.data going out of scope but those are all now global variables, so that can't be it.

Marion:
This is strange. I finally deleted the treeview control and added a new one. The nodes now stopped disappearing. I did have a TTreeFilterEdit control (which I deleted) connected to the TreeView and maybe that was "hiding" the nodes?
