Best Way to compile same Software in Win32 and Linux

Hey Lightning,

i can start Lazarus Win32-Version with wine20041019 at www.winehq.com.
I have test it in KDE 3.2.1

Can I compile linuxapps in Win-IDE too?

Lightning:
I suggest getting the Linux version of Lazarus, you should get 3 packages:
- FPC binary
- FPC Source
- Lazarus binary/source
Install using "rpm -ivh mypackage.rpm" from the console for each package.
DO NOT USE THE GUI RPM MANAGER !!! because it doesn't always work as expected.

You could run most windows apps with wine, but i want native support for Linux so Lazarus is for me.
If you don't care about native support then go for wine.
