Zeos and 64 Bits Lazarus for Linux
« on: June 04, 2008, 01:12:50 am »
Has anyone successfully installed Zeos on a 64 Bits Lazarus on Linux ? My ubuntu 64 installation refuses to compile it.

Tried with Lazarus 0.9.24 and with svn version. Same thing.

You can fix the errors reported by the compiler and send a patch to the author.

This kind of compilation failure usually isn't hard to fix.

I made some minor changes in Zeos source and I compiled it without problem. But after this - when Lazarus restart itself - the Zeos components doesn't appears in the Component palette. In the Components/Package Graph window Zeos components are marked as install next startup. But no effect if I try quit Lazarus and start again. The components remains marked as above.

Any idea?
