Why form doesn't disappear after closing Lazarus?
« on: April 06, 2021, 10:16:22 pm »
After closing Lazarus, form or datamodules remain on the screen. In some cases, they disappear after 20-30 minutes later, in other times, do not disappear.
You will see that Lazarus is still running in task manager,
Windows 10 both 32bit and 64 bit. Both of Lazarus 2.0.10 and 2.0.12.

Check if that '83%' of CPU is related to your problem, i.e. if some process relating to Lazarus is still running.

I don't think so (with no base), but thank you. I'll check it.

Hmmm... Lazarus itself is 0% but database opened by Lazarus may be running. I will check them as well. Thank you for your idea.

I had similar issue on Linux few days ago.  It happened after debugging an application with a ugly bug.  I had to use XKill to "close" the window.

Maybe that's your problem:  your application has a bug that affects Lazarus or the window manager.
