Simmo8:
is there a tool like delphi's resource editor but to edit lrs?

OnixJr:
There is "Icon Editor" to save to lrs...

See:

http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/Icon_Editor_Roadmap
and
http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/Icon_Editor

On other hand, there is a tool called lrstolfm (./tools directory) that converts lrs to lfm files, maybe it's can be helpful to you a little...

OnixJr:
It's a Lazarus project... It's convert lrs to lfm only...
It's helpful to you edit your components in Lazarus Design Editor...

Open the project and read comments on source-code:

--- Code: ---
  Author: Mattias Gaertner

  Name:
lrstolfm - shows the lfm contents of a lrs file.

  Synopsis:
       lrstolfm resourcefilename [resourcename]

  Description:
lrstolfm reads the given lrs file. If resource name is given as second
parameter this resource is searched, otherwise the first entry.

--- End code ---

CM630:
16 years later, maybe there is a tool for editing or at least viewing the images stored in LRS files?
