Random Project
« on: March 08, 2021, 07:39:54 pm »
Perhaps if a random project is going to be selected, then the homepage in the link should work.

For example, gdvdslides has a link to https://rimrocksoftware.com/node/2 which does not exist.

Either bad links should be corrected for the project, or if they no longer exist, then that project should be removed from the random project list.

Where did you find that link? Is it anything remotely to do with Lazarus and/or FPC, or are you just bored and trolling?

Having said that, I /do/ agree with you :-)

Probably means the "Random Project" in Lazarus home page. And, yes, sometimes "Visit project homepage" leads to a non-existent page, because (I think) they are taken from the wiki and it's not always up-to-date.

If that's the case I apologies, but popping up with an unsolicited link to GOK where and no explanation is unhelpful.

But I agree with at least some of the sentiment expressed on the linked site as well https://rimrocksoftware.com/bigsoftware.html
