How to extract metadata from an image?

I have Lazarus 2.0.10, FPC 3.2

i would like to know, how to extract metadata from an image file

size
resolution
Color Space
Presicion
Comments

and if have geoinformation, too.

Please help.

You could maybe use the EXIF library,

I was going to suggest the same: fpexif, because I had some problems with some Delphi-specific* sections of dExif.

Though that was some years ago; it may well be corrected by now ...


* TBH, I don't remember if it was Delphi-specific or some breaking changes in Lazarus/FPC. I think is was the first, but I might be wrong.
