I'm not claiming that I've got the solution, but in order to get a bit more attention I suggest telling us what version of FPC and/or Lazarus you're using, what OS you're using, where you got the project you're trying to compile, what your command line was etc. Oh, and please double-check that error message :-)

GTKPas is not a standard Free Pascal library; you'll have to either download and compile it for yourself, which I do not recommend, or try to modify GLWaves to use the standard LCL, which should be preferred.

IMPORTANT!
Note that you're trying to compile an almost 20 years old code base: things have changed quite a lot in the meantime. If you're really interested you should try to modernize the application as much as possible.

Note also that probably much of such old code will not even compile adequately with a modern FPC or, if compiled, not work as intended due to the (oftentimes "breaking") changes introduced in the compiler and standard libraries along the years.

Or find something more up to date to play with :-)

@Lucamar, thanks for stepping in, I mainly commented to try to stop the message falling off the bottom of the "Recent" pane before somebody who knew what he was talking about spotted it.
