Connect to a MS-SQL Server with Android
« on: December 09, 2020, 03:54:25 pm »
Is it possible to connect to a MS-SQL Server direct with a Android Programm ?

The  reason is to scan some barcodes and store it with some information on a MS-SQL Server. Actual the Application is working on a RasPi (SQLDb with freetds-drivers) and should 'handheld' based in future.

As far as i see, it should be able with jdts. http://jtds.sourceforge.net/ - So it looks, my first question can be answered with yes.

On stackoverflow the is a sample to do it in java. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/1862283/create-a-jtds-connection-string/15432761#15432761
Is it possible to convert the sample from java to pascal ?
