C++Builder has 2 compilers: standard and one based on Clang. A user chooses which compiler to use.

In any case, I don't think this behavior has anything to do with C++Builder. I'm testing this functionality on Delphi 7 - and it works great.

Delphi 7 already had compatibility with BCB.

In any way: there are no plans to change the current behavior.
