SoundPool issue
« on: October 08, 2020, 04:27:43 pm »
I'm a beginner on Android and LAMW allow me to play with my mobile ! Thanks You !

I tested the AppSoundPoolDemo and all is right with the wav files provided with the demo.

I replaced the wav files with some of mine, and I noticed this:
-with short wav file, like those provided with the demo, all the sound is played.
-with bigger files, only the few first seconds are played then looped from the start. (It seams like the audio buffer is not updated with new data...?)
I tryed to change the priority level but without sucess.

Anyone else noticed this ?

Thanks you!

EDIT : I just read about SoundPool on the net, and this library is done for short sound...! So it is normal that big file are truncated !
I'm sorry  :-[ :-[ :-[

I think that somebody else has recently asked something very similar, so don't apologise since you might have answered his question as well.

See? You can talk to yourself and nobody around here says you're crazy! :-)

Hi!

Then a workaround is easy:

Cut your favourite song in little peaces ....
