Castle Game Engine Review
« on: September 23, 2020, 05:30:09 am »
Good to see Lazarus and Object Pascal getting some credit via the Castle Game Engine.  Gives a good review, but makes some uninformed and snarky comments about Pascal and Lazarus.  It's amazing to see the ignorance about the power of Object Pascal, check the comment section.  But it does look like it woke some people up that it's still here and kicking, and you can do some amazing things with it.

I have heard that Lazarus is used in some schools in Germany.

Allegedly the German Informatics Society has proposed Java or Delphi for school lessons in 2016.

The use in schools would be interesting to introduce Pascal to a young generation.
The advantage of Lazarus is its IDE and that it is free.
If there are ideas for Lazarus marketing, I would support it financially.
