Amazing hex editor
« on: August 24, 2020, 09:54:01 am »
I was pretty impressed with the features of this online hex editor:
https://hexed.it/

I find it particularly useful for search of number patterns when reverse engineering some communication binary protocols, since it can do a simultaneous value search in big/little endian, integers and floats in 16/32/64 bits, and lots, lots more...

Enjoy!

Quite fast, loaded a 9 MB video without a noticeable delay.  Thanks for the link!

Thank you for the link too.

It's good to know about the availability of capable online utilities.
(FPC v3.0.4 and Lazarus 1.8.2) or (FPC v3.2.2 and Lazarus v3.2) on Windows 7 SP1 64bit.

Once used, it can be used offline without internet connection. No data leaves your pc. Author claims that he has tested it successfully with files up to 150GB.
